HOT TOPIC:

SWINE FLU - FACTS AND GUIDELINES

In order for UMC employees to be prepared for the various types of disasters and emergency events, a joint effort has been developed to implement procedures to help individuals increase departmental preparedness efforts. The main focus is to prepare employees and help create a team environment to carry out the necessary tasks during an emergency situation. The Emergency Management and Disaster Response Program has been created to help UMC employees be better prepared for various hazards facing a modern academic health science center.

Preparedness may be characterized as a continuous process or cycle.  This site has been created to help UMC employees locate useful information in the time of need and be better prepared for the continuous process and/or cycle that life has to offer. Please familiarize yourself with the various links that are available to help not only you as an employee, but your family and friends as well.
